想要表達「某件事情」時，英文常常需要一個開頭，然後加一個 “that”，譬如「 I think that … 」，然而，有一群英文太常用了，所以 “that” 常常被省略掉，這些字可能會造成初學者誤解，因此列表於此，老鳥也建議全部學起來，講起英文會更道地！然而，應注意到，當希望更傳遞「正式的感覺」或者有停頓需求時（譬如需要思考一下），還是會使用 “that”，最後，有些字還能直接接名詞……
