- the composition of the atmosphere = 組成結構。因為 compose 這個字本身是作曲或作文的意思，所以會強調「結構」。
- A combination of tiredness and boredom caused me to fall asleep. = 混成組合。這個字與數學的「組合」有關。例如 3 種兩兩一組總共有 C3取2 = 3 種組合方法。

combination = 混成組合。相較於 mixture，可以發現本字強調 kids + calves 的「組合」。（calves 是 calf 的複數，意思是小牛、犢）
mixture = 混成物。注意到此字強調的是一個內含一堆東西的混成物，文中順帶提及其中一項重要的成份「CO2 吸收藥草」
content = 文章、演講、電影等的內容
ingredient = 配方成分（指在某混合物裡面的一種 substance

Homogeneous = 同質。可看到圖中的混合物分布均勻，常見於氣體混合物。Heterogeneous = 異質。可看到綠色較重沈在下面，分布不是很均勻，常見於液體混合物。
嚴格來說 compound 是「非金屬 + 非金屬」化合物。而 crystal 則是「金屬+非金屬」的化合物
